What Is Nika Finance? How the App Works
Nika Finance is a non-custodial app for spot and perpetual trading, prediction markets, cross-chain swaps, tokenized stocks and gold, and Nika AI.

Nika Finance, or just Nika, is a non-custodial app where you can trade spot and perpetuals, buy tokenized stocks and gold, trade prediction markets, swap across chains, and earn yield. It also tracks your portfolio and has an AI assistant called Nika AI. You sign up with email, Google, or Apple, and Nika does not hold your private keys.
Managing money onchain often means one app for trading, another for a wallet, a third for yield or prediction markets, and a spreadsheet to keep track of it all. Nika brings spot trading, perpetuals, yield, prediction markets, and portfolio tools into one non-custodial app, with embedded EVM and Solana wallets whose private keys you can export.
Disclosure: This guide is published by Nika, a non-custodial interface for spot and perpetual trading. It describes Nika’s own product and uses documentation from the protocols, issuers, and wallet provider that Nika integrates to explain how each part works.
Nika in one paragraph
Nika is an app that gives you one account and one interface for several kinds of markets. The markets themselves run on the underlying protocols, and the tokenized assets come from their issuers. Perpetual futures run on Hyperliquid. Tokenized stocks come from issuers such as Ondo and xStocks, and gold tokens include XAUt and PAXG. Prediction markets are settled by the underlying prediction market protocol. Your embedded wallets are created through Privy, and Nika does not hold your private keys. Each feature keeps its own rules and risks, and availability depends on the asset, the protocol, and your jurisdiction.
Funding
In May 2026, CoinGape reported that Nika closed a $2M angel round.
How the Nika app works
- Create an account. Sign up with email, Google, or Apple. Nika uses Privy to create embedded EVM and Solana wallets for you, so there is no seed phrase to write down to get started.
- Fund your account. Send crypto to your wallet, or buy crypto in the app where a supported third-party provider is available to you.
- Choose a market. From the same account, pick a spot market, a perpetual, a tokenized stock or gold token, a prediction market, a swap, or a yield opportunity.
- Review and confirm. Check the market, the size, and, for perpetuals, the leverage and margin mode. Review the order details shown in the app before you confirm a trade.
- Track your portfolio. Your holdings and positions across markets appear in one portfolio view.
You can also ask Nika AI to research a market or prepare a transaction. A prepared transaction still waits for your approval unless you have set up automation with your own rules.
What you can do on Nika
Each feature below uses the protocol or issuer behind it, and each has its own rules and risks.
Spot and perpetual trading
You can explore spot and perpetual markets on Nika across crypto, tokenized stocks, and commodities from one account. For perpetuals, Nika provides access to Hyperliquid, whose market rules determine funding, margin requirements, and liquidation. Leverage goes up to 50x depending on the market, and higher leverage increases both potential gains and losses.
You can choose isolated or cross margin, depending on the market. Hyperliquid’s margining documentation explains that cross margin shares collateral across your cross positions, while isolated margin keeps an asset’s collateral, and its liquidation, separate. A perpetual gives you price exposure, not ownership of the underlying asset. To see how funding, margin, and liquidation fit together, read how a perp DEX works.
Tokenized stocks and stock perpetuals
For spot exposure to stocks, Nika provides access to Ondo tokenized stocks and xStocks. Ondo’s documentation says its tokens give economic exposure to the underlying asset, not direct title, and no shareholder voting rights. The xStocks product legal overview describes each xStock as a tracker certificate that provides economic exposure and does not confer shareholder voting rights. Neither product makes you a shareholder of the company. Trading hours are set by the issuer and venue, often 24/5 with pauses, and each issuer sets its own eligibility rules.
For leveraged long or short exposure, Nika also provides access to stock perpetuals through Hyperliquid. To compare these structures in detail, read what a tokenized stock is and which rights it carries.
Gold and other commodities
For spot gold exposure, Nika provides access to the gold tokens XAUt and PAXG. The Tether Gold FAQ says one XAUt represents ownership of one fine troy ounce of gold on a bar that meets the LBMA’s Good Delivery standard, and the PAX Gold terms say each PAXG token is equal to one fine troy ounce of London Good Delivery gold. Each issuer’s terms decide redemption and eligibility.
For leveraged exposure, Nika provides access to gold and other commodity perpetuals through Hyperliquid. These are HIP-3 markets, where a deployer sets the oracle, contract specifications, and leverage limits. A gold perpetual gives you no claim on physical gold. To understand the spot side, read what backs a gold token.
Prediction markets
Prediction markets on Nika let you buy YES or NO on an outcome. Shares trade between 1¢ and 99¢, and correct shares settle at $1. You can exit early at the market price, depending on liquidity, and positions are not leveraged. Nika provides access to prediction markets through an underlying prediction market protocol, and each market is settled by that protocol according to its published rules and resolution source. You can browse current prediction markets in the app.
Swaps and cross-chain swaps
Nika provides access to supported swaps and cross-chain swaps through third-party providers that it integrates, including LI.FI, deBridge, Relay, Across, Jupiter, and DFlow. LI.FI’s documentation describes how it aggregates chains, bridges, DEXs, and solvers through a single integration. Each swap relies on the provider’s own contracts and rules. For a step-by-step view of moving assets, read how to bridge crypto between chains.
Earn
Through Earn, Nika provides access to yield on supported assets, from stablecoin vaults to higher-yield strategies. Yields are variable, depend on the underlying protocol or strategy, and are not guaranteed. Higher-yield strategies generally carry more risk. You can compare yield opportunities on Nika before you deposit.
Discover
Nika Discover lets you find top traders on Nika and see their public trading history and portfolios. A trader’s past results do not predict future results.
Nika AI
Nika AI is the assistant inside the app. It can help you analyze your portfolio, research markets, uncover opportunities, and prepare transactions from plain-language requests. Every transaction requires your approval unless you have explicitly enabled automation using your own rules, and you set the allocations, position limits, and risk bounds it works within. Its actions are logged and explained. Nika AI helps you research and act; it does not guarantee any outcome. Learn more about what Nika AI can do.
How self-custody works on Nika
Getting started does not require setting up a separate wallet or writing down a seed phrase. You can create a Nika account with email, Google, or Apple, and Nika uses Privy for its embedded EVM and Solana wallets. Both wallets’ private keys are exportable, allowing you to use compatible external wallet software. Nika does not hold users’ private keys. Privy’s user help center explains embedded-wallet access, and its wallet export documentation covers export options. Protect your login methods and any key you export.
The embedded wallet and trading collateral serve different purposes. After collateral is deposited into Hyperliquid, it is governed by the protocol’s margin, liquidation, and withdrawal rules. A token in your wallet remains subject to its issuer’s terms. An exportable wallet does not remove those protocol or issuer risks. For the wider picture, read how non-custodial wallets work.
What Nika is not
Nika does not run a bridge or a DEX. You interact directly with the underlying protocols through Nika.
Nika is an interface to the underlying protocols, rather than a CFTC-regulated futures exchange. It does not issue the tokenized stocks or gold tokens you can trade, and it does not settle prediction markets. Nika provides the interface; each protocol and issuer determines its own market rules, asset terms, and eligibility.
Where to use Nika
